Biography
Songwriter and music-business generalist with over a decade running his own independent music brand, now running marketing and international operations for an audio-hardware company.
Erik Sjöholm is a Swiss-based songwriter who has run his own independent music brand — releases, publishing, sync licensing, self-booking and promotion — for over a decade, and spent two years mentored at The Songwriting Academy by coaches including the hit songwriter Jeff Franzel. He works as Project Manager at Nordic Audio Labs, covering email, paid social, content, web, brand positioning and international distribution — the same channels a label campaign runs on, pointed at microphones.
Erik Sjöholm has spent over a decade running his own music brand end to end — songwriting and production through release strategy, publishing, sync licensing and self-booking — including a worldwide publishing agreement with Italian Way Music, five years signed as a house writer with Sugar House Publishing, and two years mentored at The Songwriting Academy by coaches including the hit songwriter Jeff Franzel. In parallel he is Project Manager at Nordic Audio Labs, a six-person Finnish maker of studio microphones, where he owns email marketing, paid social, the content channels, the web and tracking infrastructure and international dealer relations: a 12,500-subscriber email list, a YouTube channel taken from 900 to over 57,000, and dealers across six markets. He also runs a storytelling and concert-production practice with festival credits in eight countries, and is studying Business Administration at Novia University of Applied Sciences. Works in Swedish, English, Finnish and Spanish, with conversational German and Italian.
